WWNP Canton Organizing Meeting, Mon, Oct. 13, 7pm

The West Ward Neighborhood Partnership will hold its first canton organizing meeting on Monday, Oct. 13, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Easton Area Community Center at 901 Washington Street. This is a public meeting and open to all interested West Ward Residents.

Work on the new Urban Ecology Project will be based on the formation of eight neighborhood cantons or work groups that will consist of neighbors who work together on issues in our community, such as housing, children and families, and economic development.

Igho Herbert, our Neighborhood Development Coordinator will work with the cantons to develop a work plan for each group.

Here are the names of the 8 Cantons:

1. Dutchtown
2. Easton Heights
3. Cottingham Stadium
4. Hay Addition
5. Courthouse or St. Bernard’s or Gallows Hill
6. St. Anthony’s
7. Traill Green
8. Olive Park
