For those of us who didn't get to attend Senator Casey's presentation at the Eastonian last week, below is an article covering it.
When I started this blog, I ran a survey to get opinions as to which issues mattered most to us in the West Ward (the results are still posted at the bottom of the home page on this blog). The result was that the top issue was Safe Streets, and the second biggest issue was Bringing the Train Back to Easton. So you might find it of interest that Mayor Panto requested federal funding for the police department (and development of the Silk Mill), and our State Representative Bob Freeman requested federal funding for bringing the train back:
