Remember to VOTE!! Tuesday, May 19th, 7am - 8pm

Hi Everybody,

No matter whom you're voting for tomorrow, make sure to get out and be a part of this historic election for the first West Ward rep for City Council! And remember, whoever wins the West Ward seat tomorrow, wins the election in the fall, because no Republican opponents are running. You vote at your regular polling place, and the polls will be open 7am - 8pm.

As you know, I am endorsing Dennis Lieb as our rep for City Council. I am also endorsing Peter Koehler for College Hill/Downtown, since many WW residents will have to vote in that election due to redistricting this year, and John Stoffa for County Executive, due to his forward thinking views on rehab vs. incarceration-only policy, and for his professional behavior on Northampton County Council, as opposed to the histrionic circus that his opponent is often a part of. We need forward-thinking professionals representing us to help improve our quality of life in this neighborhood.

I have asked around, and the only other votes I can offer are for Sam Murray and Michael Koury as judges--I've heard good things about both, especially Sam Murray, who is known for being a people's advocate. The others, I know nothing about. If anyone else does, please post a comment below so we can all share the info.
