The Easton Area School District passed its budget without axing the funding for the Library, but as some of our readers suggested in comments to my earlier post, they are raising taxes:

I heard on the radio though, that we will get a break on our School District taxes from the Sands Casino in Bethlehem--did anyone else hear this? I believe this would sort of cancel out the tax hike.
