Gary Bertsch, Director of the West Ward Neighborhood Partnership, is retiring.

Posted by: Noel Jones

Gary Bertsch, who has tirelessly headed up the West Ward Neighborhood Partnership for the last five years, through tree plantings, sidewalk repair, facade grants, the planting of community gardens and the current construction on Northampton--not to mention numerous events for the community--is retiring and moving to Florida.

Below is a message from Sophia at the WWNP with the details. Let's all come out and let Gary know how much we appreciate his hard work and advocacy for our neighborhood over the years, and how much he will be missed as a neighbor!

I'll say it again -- Gary is not only a wonderful person he was a great facilitator and leader for Easton's West Ward. I have enjoyed working with him these past two years and look forward to hosting his party on
Monday evening.

I wish Gary the best in his retirement! He is the reason why I became an active member in Easton. I guess a great deal of positivity came out of me being forced by the city to remove a dead tree from the front of my house! Because without that and meeting Gary, I would still be out of the loop!
