If you've been wondering about the snowstorm that has hit Downtown, better known as the 10,000 Snowflakes for Easton Project, click on this great little video by West Ward residents Ken Jones and Ron Morris whose brainchild the project is--the video says it all:

Volunteers with the Main Street Initiative, as well as store owners, put up the snowflakes. We will be taking them down after a few weeks. We are asking that they remain in storefronts until February 14. It was a great community project that brought people together for a common cause. The Downtown looks beautiful!

I like the "snowstorm" downtown. I walk around the downtown area everyday and have enjoyed the creative way some of the stores have employed the snowflakes. It was a good idea and thank whomever was responsible.
