Two opportunities in one evening! Pot luck at 5th St. Community Garden, tomorrow, Fri., 5:30; Live music on the square, 7:30-9:30.

I apologize for this late notice. It looks like the weather will cooperate. Tomorrow evening we're having this summer's first pot luck at the 5th St. Community Garden. Please join us if you can. This is a great opportunity to get to know others in our community and enjoy great conversation and food. We have a picnic table and a lovely new umbrella. We'll have an extra table at the garden as well.

Also, 7:30-9:30 tomorrow evening, this seasons's first Live Music on the Square featuring The Doug Hawk Proposition. Two opportunities in one evening!

For anyone not familiar with Doug Hawk, he works in the jazz realm and is very good...and an Easton resident as well(homegrown talent).

I love the Doug Hawk Proposition and see them often at Porters--I meant to make it down, but the potluck at the community garden was so nice and relaxing after a long week's work, that I lost track of the time and missed the music. It was nice to see so many neighbors there hanging out and socializing. I'll have to catch the DHP at Porters again sometime soon...
