If I went two years ago will it be the same stories, or do they change it up every year?
Betty... The stories and route change a little bit each year. If you saw it two years ago it's probably about 50% new stuff.
Thanks for letting us know, Larry--I'm looking forward to it--"The Angry Mob" seems like a great opportunity for residents to be creative and vent some frustrations!
I heard that in China they have this new thing called "venting malls"--shopping malls constructed and filled with products that angry women can pay to come in and smash to vent their frustrations...strange...and kinda brilliant...
The bumper cars at Bushkill Park were my favorite venting activity. Unfortunately, they are now a thing of the past. A real shame.

ooh--we should bring it back. i love bumper cars.
Just stand in center square for about an hour. Something's bound to scare you sooner or later.
last night was fun--the route goes around in about a 2 block radius from center square, as ghost stories unique to Easton are told and enacted along the way--there's another one tonight at 8pm!
I attended the haunted tour for the first time this year. It was fabulous. The best event I attended in quite awhile. The actors were wonderful. I do not think a professional acting group could have put on a better performance. I would highly recommend it to everyone.
Reno Pesaresi
Thanks for posting, Reno! We had a great time, and it sounds like there was a record turnout--almost 100 people the first day and almost 200 the second day--a great fund raiser for the shelter!
In a way it reminded of me of the Dia Del Muertes parades they have in parts of Europe and South America, only it's Easton's own repertoire of notorious ghost stories from historic murders...
It's also a great way to be mindful of our history and how far we've come as a society--from hanging men on shreds of evidence to drowning women that are beautiful and don't go to church and dare to go on long walks with married men...
