Can We Please Give Boobies (and Taxpayers) A Break Already?

Girls have boobies--deal with it!
Boys alone are responsible for their responses to them.

According to this article by Rudy Miller of the Express-Times, a federal judge has decided again, that Easton Middle School students have the right to wear the infamous "I ♥ Boobies" cancer-awareness bracelets in school. Even so, our school district continues to waste our taxpayer money fighting to insist
that they were right to suspend these students and restrict their constitutional freedom of expression in the first place. Their argument? That the word "boobies" is "vulgar," and that the bracelets cause a "distraction" to boys in school. I have said it before and I will say it again--if bracelets with a word on them are such a distraction, then how can boys and girls even attend school together, with real boobies floating around in the halls every day? And if boys fail to control their behavior, why are girls getting punished for it?

In the midst of our ongoing budget turmoil, can we please stop wasting money on this?

I couldn't agree more. And, if you don't mind me saying, you have a nice rack yourself.

Why, thank you. Hopefully you won't jump out and grab one, shouting, "boobies!" like a certain middle school boy in question did, and look around for someone to suspend me for my "rack"'s dark magical powers over you.

Fighting breast cancer is good. Boobies are good. Boys need to learn to admire them from afar and keep it to themselves. And if they really love them, they can buy a bracelet, learn about breast cancer and help raise breast-cancer awareness to save more boobies.

Will there be a boobies parade?

ha ha, Anon. you really need to take a moniker, like ParadeMeister, or paradesforall, or wheresmyparade...

I think a boobies parade would be incredibly popular and raise lots of money for the cause, but I doubt the city would ever go for it!
