As I am sure most of you are aware we are quickly approaching one year since the passing of our DEAR, DEAR FRIEND Nadine Loane.
Once again, in an attempt to commemorate this strong, courageous and UNFORGETTABLE woman ~ Weed & Seed together with the City of Easton will be hosting a Memorial Service in her honor. A tree will be planted at Centennial Park to serve as an ongoing reminder that regardless of her personal daily struggles, her hard work and commitment to all those within her community, especially the children, will live on.
We will meet, appropriately enough, at the closing of Summer Nights ~ Race Car Night! Please meet at Centennial Park, 12th & Ferry Streets, Thursday August 20th as the Mayor will start promptly at 3:00 PM!
Please note ~ the Memorial Service and tree planting will be held at the park RAIN OR SHINE! However, in the event of rain the closing of Summer Nights ~ Race Car Night which starts at 4PM will be held at St. Anthony's Youth Center on 9th & Washington Streets.
If there is anyone else who should be included but not listed in the distribution of this email ~ PLEASE forward it on to them immediately. Thank you!
