Gas Leak on Ferry St.

I kept hearing lots of noise yesterday. Thought it was construction. Then realized something was wrong-- a gas leak. Thankfully, no one was hurt and it appears to be repaired. Then I was wondering about infrastructure. Is Easton's infrastructure in need of updating like so many other areas of our country?

Thanks for the post, Joanne. I'm glad everyone is all right. Between the sewer lines that burst last year on Larry Holmes, the gas lines on Ferry and the beat up roads all over town, there are certainly enough places where we could create some much-needed jobs for people if we made good use of stimulus package money...

UGI has a gas leak detection van that goes throughout the area on a regular basis and detects leaks. They are proactive in that way but it isn't always 100%.

As for our underground and above-ground infrastructure we need FDR to give us the programs to put people to work. Work and get a check.
