Carol Broughton to Sing Jazz at TranquiliTea: March 20th, 8pm

Come to TranquiliTea on Saturday, March 20th for
the live jazz vocals of West Ward resident Carol Broughton!

On Saturday, March 20th at 8pm, a few of my favorite things will align in Easton for one beautiful night: TranquiliTea House, live jazz, and West Ward residents Carol Broughton (vocals) and Patrick Poladian (keyboard).

First of all, if you haven't been to TranquiliTea yet, you are really missing out. It's kind of tricky to get to, because of the one-way streets, but it's located downtown on 4th Street and Spring Garden, and inside you'll find a warm and beautifully decorated interior, which unlike a lot of spots in Easton, follows a complete and continuous theme from front to back, top to bottom. They have a menu of intriguing teas steeped to perfection, and this family-run business couldn't be run by a nicer family. It's the kind of place you don't want to leave once you're there.

They occasionally feature music and a poetry, and on the 20th, Carol Broughton will add her rich jazz vocals to the room. It will be a warm night worth getting out of the house for, and I hope to see you there--mark your calendar!

Oh man, very cool. I've been meaning to check this place out and the 20th looks like a perfect time to do so. Thanks!
