Public Presentation by the Lafayette College Technology Clinic
"Green Investment and a Sense of Community in the West Ward of Easton"
When: Thursday, May 6, 4:30pm
Where: Room 108 Van Wickle Hall, Lafayette College

Synopsis:
Over the past semester, supported by CACLV and the WWNP, students participating in the Lafayette Technology Clinic have been examining issues associated with green development and sense of community in the West Ward of Easton. The project runs for two semesters and the team will be presenting it's mid-project report at the public session listed above. At this point the team is attempting to define where various communities gather in the West Ward, and to eventually make recommendations on how green development might be used to enhance these spaces and encourage a sense of ownership. The team would like to invite all members of the West Ward Community to attend the presentation and provide feedback on the work and guidance for their study which will continue in the fall semester.

Did anyone go to this? I'd like to "hear" comments from anyone who was able to attend. I was at work, unfortunately, but I am interested in knowing how this project is going.

The presentation went very well. I was not one of the students in the Technology Clinic, but I was in the audience listening to the presentation. Fifty more copies of the Technology Clinic's Mid-Project Report are being printed. Tom Jones should have those soon.
