According to Sarah Cassi's article in the Express-Times, burglars have hit two more businesses in Easton: Third Street Cafe and, for the second time in a month, Gino's Pizza. Nothing of value was taken and police do not know if these two burglaries are related to the rash of four burglaries last month.

These guys are brazen because they break right thru the front doors, and the fact that they have gotten away with it this many times is an impetus to keep doing it....... I love El and noel jones and this is TUNSIE...Im not afraid to use my name

thanks, for posting your name, tunsie!

it's so weird that these last two robberies didn't result in anything taken--maybe alarms scared them away?

Tunsie, clean up your building and its residents, a real disgrace!

tunsie owns the building? how many other run down buildings of yours disgrace the city?

regardless, I'm surprised someone would break into Gino's; I'm pretty sure it's a front for the mob. them jokers'll be wearing cement shoes real soon and swimmin wit da fishes.

Anons--the facade work on the Lafayette helped a lot this year--it looks much better, don't you think so?

and that's all it is, a facade. if the same dirtbags inhabit it, nothing will change. but, I guess even low lifes need a place to live, no?
you can't polish a turd (well, actually, you can, mythbusters did, but that's besides the point :))

the facade is fine but I remember the press conference the mayor had at which time the brother said they did it becasue the mayor asked them to clean it up. Do you think the Mayor can ask them to start running a legitimate business. Yes these tenants need a p-lace to live but clean it up and bring in services to assist these tenants in getting a job.
