Another School Board Candidate Steps to the Plate

Ronnie DelBalcco

Posted by: Noël Jones

A Republican candidate has stepped into the fray in the primary for the school board race. Below is the bio for Ronnie DelBalcco issued by the Easton Republican Committee:

"Ronnie DelBacco, a resident from the south side of Easton, has announced his candidacy for the Region 2 EASD School Board seat being vacated by Kerry Myers.

DelBacco is a 1987 graduate of Easton Area High School and is currently employed by Electronics Design Group, Inc., an award winning home automation installation company located in New Jersey. As a homeowner and father of two in the school district, Mr. DelBacco understands the need for citizens to step-up and share the responsibility of oversight to ensure fiscal responsibility for fellow tax payers and quality education for our children. Quoting President Lincoln, DelBacco believes that "the philosophy of the classroom in one generation becomes the philosophy of government in the next."

Being a team player and having a solid and persistent work ethic, Mr. DelBacco will bring a positive, energetic, and responsible style of leadership to the table."

You have to be kidding me. No onr else? I've seen this guy at the polls on election day and well let's just say -- he is not school board material.

Not school board material? Please elaborate.

My guess is you mean he might just tell those with the "best and brightest will leave if they don't get their money and benefits" argument to go pound sand and see how they make out in the real world. I don't live in your district, but mine uses your contract as leverage against us, so I'll go on record as saying this guy gets some dough and any other help I can offer if that is his mantra.
