According to Colin McEvoy's article for the Express-Times, Easton Middle School teacher, Stephen Sullivan, has been suspended without pay since charges of indecent assault against a 7-year old girl were brought against him in February, as well as 100 counts of child pornography. Now the Easton Area
School District says they are taking the appropriate steps to fire him, which is good to hear, since Acting Superintendent, Joe Kish, didn't take students' and parents' complaints seriously when they complained about Sullivan's creepy behavior over five years ago.
In the meantime, the State of Pennsylvania has placed his teaching certificate on immediate suspension. The victim was not an Easton Middle School student, but a girl he allegedly molested in his apartment in Bath, after taking her Christmas shopping.
