Benefit for Tombler's Home Bakery TUESDAY Night at Black & Blue

The Tombler's Home Bakery booth at the Easton Farmers Market

Posted by: Noël Jones

Kelly-Jo Ditze and Larry Porter, the owners of Black & Blue, are hosting a fundraiser tomorrow (Tuesday) night for Tombler's Home Bakery, whose home business was lost in a tragic fire recently. The benefit will be from 6-8pm with a minimum donation of $10 at the door (but please feel free to donate more). Below is a message from Larry Porter:

For anyone who's ever enjoyed a pizza at Which Brew or Black & Blue... In case you didn't know Tombler's Bakery burned to the ground several weeks ago. These are the fine folks who made our pizza crusts for us using Weyerbacher's spent grains. Now is your chance to show some love... This Tuesday August 16th from 6pm - 8pm we will be hosting a benefit dinner. Minimum donation $10 all you can eat buffet. All the food was donated by Easton Farm Market vendors and all proceeds will directly benefit the crew at Tomblers. Hope to see you Tuesday. :-)

The benefit will be held at Black & Blue from 6pm - 8pm Tuesday August 16th. B&B is located at 683 Walnut Street www.blackandblueeaston.com. Plenty of parking on 7th street in front of the couthouse and on Ferry between Walnut & 7th.

Cheers,
Larry
