Schools Closed on Monday, August 29th in Easton Area Due to Hurricane Irene

SCHOOL CLOSURE:

Due to Hurricane Irene and likely flooding of the Delaware River in the Easton area, Easton area schools will be closed on Monday, August 29th.

Continue to check the NOAA web site for hazardous weather and flood
warnings, and be sure to have an evacuation plan in place in case your home experiences flooding. Remember to NEVER DRIVE on flooded roads--it only takes less than 12" of water to wash a car off the road.

Please be safe and HAVE A PLAN in case you need one.
