Don't forget to vote in the poll at the bottom of this page as to what kinds of stores/businesses you would like to see i!n the West Ward. So far, a grocery store, is winning by far, and a cafe/bookstore is second. I would love to see both, because they are both types of businesses that encourage walking traffic among residents in the neighborhood, and offer a daytime opportunity for residents to bump into each other, share news and socialize a little.

If the business you would like to see is not on my list below, please post a comment here to suggest it. I have one request for dry cleaning already, which would be great for office workers.

Any other suggestions? Post them here! But most importantly, don't forget to vote at the bottom of this page, because I will be forwarding the results to city officials to let them know what kind of economic development we would like to see in our neighborhood.
