Poetry and theater all in one--check out Touchstone Theatre's latest offering, Walden, featuring the work and life of Henry David Thoreau. The show will be performed at the Abbey Hill Theatre (home of Green Leaf Productions) on College Hill at 225 Porter Street in Easton, which is a cool old church building. The role of Thoreau will be played by Bill George, whom I had the pleasure of seeing perform in Touchstone's presentation of Shakespeare's The Tempest last year. George will be accompanied by Emma Chong on flute. Get your tickets now--$20/$15 students and seniors. As usual, ice cream will be sold before the show.
